As we look at the world and its system which are in the control of Satan, the prince and power of the air, it almost seems like he has a lot of power. But in reality he only has power over you if you allow him to have it. Jesus told us that He gave us power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over ALL the power of the enemy in Luke 10:19. If the body of Christ really believed that, they would not accept being broke, sickly, hurting, down and out, etc. all the time. They would rise up and tell the enemy to release what rightfully belongs to them as a child of the living God. As long as people just go through life as a child of God, really not caring how they live, they will be a defeated child of God that does not realize who they are in Christ. Because once they realize who they are in Christ, the devil knows he is in trouble. In the last days, God is teaching His hungry children how to live this Christian life so we can be just like Jesus in the way we walk in authority over the enemy and all his devices.

In Romans 8:17, the bible tells us that the sons of God are led by the Spirit of God. The word "sons" in Greek means a weous, which is a son by relationship that acts just like the master. In the New Testament there are 2 different types of sons talked about. The one is the weous and the other is the teknon. The teknon is a son that is only in relationship with God but does not act like Him. In other words if you see a teknon out somewhere, you would not know that they were a child of God, because of the way they act and talk. But if you saw a weous out somewhere, you would know they were a Christian by the way they act and talk, because they act and talk like Jesus. With all the people in the world today claiming to be God’s children, we have to take their word for it and just realize if they are God’s children, then they are teknons, because we can’t tell by the fruit they are bearing, if any fruit at all.

We need to ask His forgiveness for the way we, as the body of Christ, have been and then ask Him to change us so we are just like Him in love and action. This life is such a wonderful life when we learn to just take Jesus at His Word and follow everything He tells us to do. When we make up our minds that He is Lord, then we do everything He says to do. Our lives need to be examples to all around us so that they can live this life for Christ because we are showing them how. It is so easy when we get in Christ and stay in Him, to live like Him.

Just stay in His Word, pray, go to your local church faithfully, and give to the kingdom of God faithfully, and let God take care of you.

You need to get the revelation of just how much God loves you and then find out how to live in that love everyday. Your life will never be the same.

There are so many people in the world today that think because they say they believe in Jesus or God that they are OK or everything is alright. But when you believe in Jesus, that means that you are relying on Him for everything, you are trusting Him for everything, and you are clinging to Him for everything.  So we see in this definition of what it means to believe in Jesus, that most people that make this statement don’t have a clue what they are talking about.  You can’t believe in Jesus and still worry about things or be concerned about how things are going to turn out.  Because when you are believing Jesus, you have total trust in Him that all is well, no matter what the circumstances look like.  You know that, in Him, it will all work out for the good.

Most people try to tell you that they believe in Jesus and don’t even know anything about Him. He told us that we would have things in this life come against us but He didn’t say they would have to stay.  We are suppose to be happy no matter what is happening in our life or coming against us because the Master overcome all those things.  So if we will learn who Jesus is, we will be more than a conquer in all things. The only way to find out who Jesus is is to find out and study what He taught, what He said, and what He did. That is who Jesus is, His doctrine.

It is amazing to hear people talk about how much they believe in Jesus and don’t even go to church, don’t even give to the kingdom of God, don’t even read their bible everyday, and don’t even pray everyday.  They really don’t realize that they are just not telling the truth, because you cannot believe in Jesus and not do these basic but most important things.  If your life is not identified with Christ life, then you are not a Christian (one that talks, acts, and thinks like Jesus).

You might say well “I am trying“, “I am doing my best“, “I will get there“, “I’m hanging in there“, etc. That is your main problem, you are trying to do something, and Jesus wants you to believe in Him, deny yourself, and put faith in what He has already done for you.  When you really believe in Jesus, you quit trying to do things for Him and believe what He has done for you.  Remember that the best thing that we can do for God, is to embrace everything that He has done for us.  He doesn’t want anything from me and you except FAITH.  This New Testament life is a life of faith.  Without faith it is impossible to please Him. So quit trying to live right, quit trying to live for God, quit trying to do your best, and just put faith in the one that has already done everything for us in Christ.

You might say well now I feel bad after reading this.  I would say that if this fits you, then you should feel shame for not being a witness for the Master but that doesn’t have to last long, because you can repent right now (that means you are putting faith in what Jesus did for you and now you are going to let Him live His life through you) and follow Him.  If you do this, we will see you in church, giving to the kingdom, studying your bible, and praying.  In other words, there will be a significant change that can be seen in your life.  If you stay the same, you have not repented.  You are just trying to make your conscience feel better. Quit playing games and repent.  It is too important to play with.  People are watching you and they need someone that will show them Jesus.

Remember that God so loved you and that he gave you Jesus, so that if you believe in Him, His love will not let you stay like you are.  When God loves you, He is always sending Jesus to do something in your life to make you more and more like Jesus.  He wants to get rid of you, so He can live His life through you to a lost world.

This is the month of August and summer is almost behind us. Our country has been in one of the worst financial set backs that it has ever seen. But I thank my Father continually that I am not moved by this world’s economy. You see, the Master told us that we are in this world, but not of this world. You really need to pray for God to give you a personal revelation of that. So if I am not of this world, then what am I of? I am of the Kingdom of God or Love, for God is Love. His Kingdom is His rule or way of doing things. So I have to go to Him to find out what to do in my finances and He loves me so much, He showed me in scripture what to do.

You see we can’t give out of pressure or compulsion at offering time; it is suppose to be a time of worship. Our Father is looking for cheerful givers. You are not cheerful if you feel threatened to give. We do not give in the New Testament Church because of Malachi. We have to go further back than that to our father Abraham. We find out that Abraham gave God tithe because he loved God.  So if he gave because he loved God, then we need to learn from him and give because we love God and we love people.

You should give 10% of your gross income to your local church for the work of that ministry. Then you should pay your bills and then if you have any extra, you can give an offering. You should never give an offering after you have tithed, if your bills at home are not paid. (Unless God tells you to, and if He tells you to, you will not lack.) There are all kinds of preachers out there that will tell you to sow this or sow that and God will do this for you. You better have a Word from the Lord yourself before you give your bill money to a ministry. So having said that, if you are going to be obedient to the Father, you have to trust Him enough to be a faithful giver and in trusting Him, He will be able to bless you beyond your wildest expectations. Just think, at offering time, how cheerful you will be if you get the revelation that you are being obedient to your Father and putting Him in the position to be able to bless you with all He has.

One final thought is that when you take your tithe money and do with it what you want; you take the control out of God’s hand over your finances and put it in your hands. This means that you think you know more than He does about how to take care of you. Repent if you have not been tithing, give the Father control of all you have, and watch Him do what only He can do.
